The artist has created the entire artwork to create a visual appearance of stalactite. A stalactite is an icicle-shaped formation that hangs from the ceiling of a cave and is produced by precipitation of minerals from water dripping through the cave ceiling. Most stalactites have pointed tips, and the chief component is Calcium Carbonate. According to the artist, Stalactite she found in Serbia, symbolically depicts nature's desire to attain completion and the constant and relentless process involved in it. The philosophical depth in the artist’s thought is commendable as she links the natural phenomenon with the inherent human urge to survive and attain completion. The unending journey of growth and the strong will to survive amidst changing circumstances is underlined in this exquisite piece of sustainable art.
